Education is the road out of poverty – The Gospel is the road to true freedom
That is why we also believe that part of our practical living and preaching of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is to contribute to the education of children within the DEGNOS ministry area.
DEGNOS currently operates 17 small schools with 29 teachers where +- 450 children between the ages of 4 and 6 are schooled to improve their chances to adapt and progress within the state school system.
These little schools of ours all use the AMS curriculum.
These past few days and until Saturday, Mrs.Alet van der Merwe and Mrs. Judie Wiese from AMS is with us to help 9 of the DEGNOS teachers sharpen their pencils. We are truly thankful for their work as servants in the Kingdom of our Lord.
The DEGNOS teachers are all people with a calling to get the children in their respective habitats ready for school and to teach the Gospel message to the little children.
